"I bought a Pauline Gough work of art and love it more in person everyday. Hangs in our living room so all our guests can view it. Always gets compliments. Just a matter of time before we purchase another. Great artist. Highly recommended" Jason Sanchez, Queens, New York |
Pauline and Simon were 'bach sitting' at Martin's Bay and I happened to pop by for a quick drink.
As I walked in I noticed one of Pauline's pieces leaning against the kitchen bench. I had no plans, intentions or needs to buy a painting, however I couldn't take my eyes off it. And then and there I decided that I just HAD to have it! Of course it helped that my birthday was approaching..... As I enter my home it's the first image I see. I love the brightness, riot of colour and the joy it brings me. And I'm looking forward to many more birthdays so that I can find an excuse to buy more! |
"I have three of Pauline Gough’s impressionistic paintings hanging in my home, and have also given two to my children. The hills in the smaller painting are a lovely reminder of my South Island roots, and I love the colours of Dargaville in the bend of the river. Pauline’s palette is broad and striking, and she has a wide subject matter, with something that will appeal to everyone’s taste. I have been fascinated by her ability to work in a wide variety of mediums and bring out the best in each. Like many others, I take great pleasure in viewing her work."

"We purchased one of Pauline’s artworks earlier this year, and we absolutely love it. It is a beautiful, vibrant landscape - Pauline captures our New Zealand(ness) so well and the painting lights up our living space. Brilliant!"

"I am a converted art lover thanks to Pauline Gough's work. I love the life and vibrancy of her paintings. For me her work is living."
Jill Grace, Auckland NZ
"As an enthusiastic painter I was so impressed with photographs of Pauline's paintings, especially their movement, vibrancy and style that I contacted her to see if I could come and observe her in action. She very generously consented and invited me to visit her studio one day and observe her fluency and process of painting. She was very welcoming and friendly. She took time to explain her approach to painting and how she translated her thoughts to the canvas. Pauline demonstrated how she portrayed movement with limited brush strokes. I gained a great deal from the visit and learned to apply some of her techniques to my approach. Thank you Pauline for generously sharing your time and talent" Leonie Freeman, Auckland NZ |

Fergie is beautiful and my adult children are delighted with the Christmas present they've just given me. It will reside at our beach house, overlooking farms where many a Fergie has toiled and it will also bring back fond memories of our worthy boat-trailing Fergie. Karen O'Brien, Auckland NZ
